Vintage 1950's Sphinx Victorian style gold, pearl, black onyx brooch

Classic gold tone Sphinx victorian revival style brooch, circa 1950's. The centre is a star burst design within a black pressed oval shaped glass with a faux pearl. There are twelve smaller black glass stones set amongst the intricate scroll and beadwork metal. Unfortunately, stick pin at back is broken. Was purchased from Polo / Ralph Lauren in 1989 for $220 (receipt included).
