Vintage‎ 1950s Silk Dress Suit With Double Breasted Fur Collar Jacket 2 Pieces

Vintage 1950s silk dress suit with double breasted fur collar jacket 2 pieces This gorgeous vintage suit was my 93-year-old mothers and she taught in it as a Chicago Public Schools teacher in the mid to late 1950s. Size tag says 14, but this is definitely a vintage 14, not as big as a 14 in today's sizes. See measurements to determine fit. The dress has darts to accommodate bust and hips. The textured silk fabric has no give in it at all. Also, this style dress does not have a slit in the back so see bottom measurement to make sure you can walk in it. The jacket has eight elegant, detailed plastic buttons and four fake pockets for design. Also has bust darts and is slightly larger than the dress. Has a real fur collar, but I don't know what kind of fur because I know nothing about fur. It is in pristine condition. Nary a wrinkle. I assume it was pressed before it went into storage. The dress and jacket together weigh 2 pounds.
