Vintage 1950's Silk Custom Dress, M

Wearable Vintage! This is a one of a kind hand tailored deep purple silk dress with a shocking pink lining that peaks out when walking. Excellent tailoring suggests a professional custom made garment. Original tulle crinolyn has been removed. Could be worn with or without a petticoat. Hem has been turned up 2.75 inches, and Buttons and Snap closure in the front have been moved once for a second wearer. Could be adjusted for future use. Measurements with the garment laid flat are about 29" waist and 34" bust, measured across the back from side seams under armpits. Large pocket on left side was hand sewn and could be easily removed without leaving marks. Original belt missing, but loops present. Could use pocket fabric to make replacement. No damage beyond sweat marks under arms. No bad odor. I have a vintage purple velvet hat in a separate listing that would pair well.
