Vintage 1950s Sewing Basket

This vintage handwoven bamboo and wicker sewing basket is adorned with Chinese embellishments including a blue glass ring, glass beads, and orange (possibly silk) tassel. The basket has some flaws, the tassel is quite worn, and the lid is a bit dusty around the embellishments, but overall it is in excellent condition for a 70+ year old sewing basket.
