Vintage 1950s Raylite Electrical Corp Paramount Illuminated Musical Cathedral Christmas village Music box Silent night This 1950s cellulose hard plastic lighted musical church Christmas display was made by Raylite Electric Corp., a division of Paramount. A music box plays O Come, All Ye Faithful when the key at the back is wound. The interior light and music box are working properly. It would be prudent to replace the cord to the light as the electrical safety standards of the 1950s do not seem sufficient today. Further, the cord has become brittle with age and the integrity may be compromised. The bulb/cord can be removed if you do not find yourself with time to replace the cord before the holidays this year. The church is marked at the back "Manufactured By Raylite Electric Corp, New York NY". Does not come in original box. You can put together a very nice holiday display with this church as the focal point, using angel hair or cotton snow, miniature lights, angel figures or other buildings - whatever you like.
