Vintage 1950s Multi Strand Bead Off White Choker Japan Great 4 Up Cycle (J529)

This pretty plastic beaded necklace is circa 1950s/1960s. The clasp is stamped Japan. It is approximately 14” from clasp to clasp; so it is an approximate 7” drop . I have tried to picture all sides of the necklace and beads. I have photographed the beads alongside a ruler to indicate their size. Any blemishes due to natural aging are naturally shown in the photo. I am positive that this strand of beads was at one time painted, most likely a faux pearly off white. You can tell from the photos. For this reason, I am saying they are in Very Used Condition.The hardware, string and beads themselves are in in good condition and it would be a great piece for up-cycling; whether you paint the beads to give new life to the piece as it is, or you take apart and use the beads and hardware for something new.
