Vintage 1950s Le Rage Dial A Date Loose Powder Make-up Compact with Sifter

This fabulous piece dates to the early 1950s and was manufactured under the trade name of Le Rage by Evans Components, England. This compact is in very good vintage condition. The clock dial on the front can be set to a time while the central indicator moves to any one of various activities from Bridge, Hairdresser, Cocktails, Cinema, Lunch, Milliner, Tennis, Theater or Dinner. CONDITION: VERY GOOD Front graphics and enamels are still bright with no chips. The inside looks unused, with a clear mirror and the original sifter and puff are in MINT condition. Clasp and hinge work perfectly. The body of the compact shows minimal light surface scratches. It is approximately 4” in diameter. A show stopper!
