Vintage 1950s Japanese beaded evening purse, silk lined with beaded handle

Beautifully crafted beaded bag, with sturdy, tightly woven rows of beads in shades of lilac grey with bright floral bursts of yellow, red, and teal. It’s a little piece of art with history that goes back to the mid-40s. In 1945, it was given as an engagement present to the previous owner’s mother in Japan, and has been lovingly cared for since. The lining could use a hit with some hot glue to keep it intact. Use it as a purse, or just a beautiful place to keep jewelry or make up. Looks adorable with the soft yellow sweater, also available in my closet. :) Measurements: 9” wide 6” tall Handle 5”
