Vintage 1950's Indian Embroidered Mirrorwork Floral Skirt

Vintage 1950's Indian embroidered mirrorwork floral skirt. This GORGEOUS skirt is a bucket list piece for me but unfortunately isn't the right size. Picked up during a trip to India in the 50's/60's by a local woman named Marta and lovingly stored for 70 years. Red cotton maxi skirt with vibrant green, blue, yellow & white floral and leaf embroidery with mirrorwork centers in the flowers. Elastic at the back of the waist. Medium weight cotton but on the heavier side due to the embroidery. Tags: no tags, handmade Condition: AS IS condition. Overall great vintage condition with typical signs of wear which can include tiny snags, pilling or color variations. Has a few ink stains noted throughout (Marta was a writer and confesses she was not always careful with inky hands). Some snags and runs in the embroidery noted. Structurally sound and overall good. Elastic a little worn at the waist. Has been taken in at the waist and approximately an inch of fabric at the waist can be let out if desired. Measurements: waist: 30-38"; hips: 60"; length: 34"
