Vintage black cocktail dress Richard DuPuis for Neal of California Vintage 1950s couture black, strappy cocktail dress with dramatic back drape peplum by Richard DuPuis for Neal of California label. True cocktail little black dress glamour! Strappy neckline with darted bosom descending down to figure hugging drop waist and straight fall to hem. However, a pleated self fabric ballon style peplum, supported by an underskirt of tulle, elegantly drapes in pleated crisscross from the front of the dress meeting and descending in the back to the hemline. Very dramatic and alluring yet understated. Very “Breakfast at Tiffanys” look. Back concealed zip with additional hook and eye supports.
