Vintage 1950s Christian Dior Aurora Borealis & Emerald Rhinestone Drop Brooch

Stunningly gorgeous, rare, vintage 1950s Christian Dior dual brooch and scarf or dress clip comprised of a prong-set pear-shaped faux emerald Austrian crystal rhinestone, surrounded with a halo of one row of pale green rhinestones with the appearance of peridot or chrysolite, followed by two rows of prong-set Aurora Borealis rhinestones, and finished with a drop faux emerald foil back rhinestone. The brooch is marked France just below the trombone clasp, where the brooch pin meets the clip mechanism, as well as with a French notation indicating a patent on the clip mechanism. Otherwise unsigned. I’ve had the brooch professionally authenticated and will send certificate information to the buyer, and then of course everything sold for more than $500 goes through Poshmark authentication as well. Approximately two inches in length, and just a little bit more than one and a quarter inches in width. See photos for details.
