Vintage 1950s '50s New Look Nipped Fitted Waist Suit Micro Check Pattern Peplum

Matching Fabric Buttons & Pleated Skirt Condition: Some minor flaws. A tiny, barely noticeable hole just below the bottom of the back collar (see image 3). The seams on the top of the right cuff are fraying, this might be fixable by a clever seamstress (see image 4). A hole in the skirt in the area below where the zipper is, which has been patched up with fabric taken from the seam, barely noticeable (see picture 5). The cuffs, as shown in the picture, have a tendency to resist laying flat: but some double-sided fashion tape could be used to fix that. Measurements -- Blazer: Bust: 35" Shoulder-to-shoulder: 14" Sleeves (shoulder to hem): 22" Waist (narrowest point -- about 6" under underarm seam): 25" Length (shoulder to hem): 19 1/2" Skirt: Waist: 23 1/2" Hips: Free Length (top of waistband to hem): 23 3/4" Label: None. Care Label: None. Possibly hand-washable, but I would recommend dry-cleaning. Dress shields would prevent one from having to do this too often, and would not be noticeable underneath under such dark and thick fabric as this. Material: Wool or tweed (probably wool). Note: The pattern does not photograph from a distance very well for some reason, but it looks more the way it does in the close-up images in real life. Neither blazer nor skirt are lined, so do wear something underneath them (a blouse or sweater under the blazer and a slip or petticoat under the skirt).
