3-strand choker necklace featuring baroque glass pearls with a silvery-gray marbled nacre finish and faceted glass crystals.
Each pearl shows painted swirls and striations, designed to imitate the orient and irregular luster of natural baroque pearls. The strands are hand-wired and finished with silvertone bead caps.
The clasp is a concealed rhinestone-set box clasp that blends seamlessly into the design — a style characteristic of higher-end French and couture costume jewelry from the 1930s–50s.
While unsigned, the necklace is reminiscent of Louis Rousselet’s Parisian workshop, which supplied glass pearls and beads to Chanel, Schiaparelli, and other couture houses. The quality is far above typical mass-market pieces of the era
