Vintage 1950 U. S. Department of Agriculture recipe booklet entitled “Turkey on The Table The Year Round”. Farmers’ Bulletin Number 2011. U.S. Government Printing Office. Illustrated. The cover features a woman wearing a striped apron and holding a platter of roast turkey. This item was sent through the mail to Philadelphia and has the delivery address written in ink on one side. Remnants of a 2-cent postage stamp are attached to the sides. Condition is used. There is light staining, extensive creasing and loss of paper around the edges due to the paper being brittle.
