Original Veterans of Foreign Wars U.S.A. garrison cap dated March 27, 1945, representing Unit 2335 in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Size 6-7/8. Constructed in traditional military style with embroidered post designation. Features two small age-related deterioration holes—one at the top rear and one beneath the “2445” embroidery. Both affect only the outer material and do not penetrate the lining (see last photo). Pre-owned in good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.
