Offered here is an authentic mid-century aviation-nautical charm, originally attached to a gentleman’s tie clasp or short chain accessory. The design features a winged anchor over a compass star background, symbolizing the union of air and sea navigation.
The back bears the “RC” hallmark of Robbins Co., Attleboro, Massachusetts — one of America’s best-known manufacturers of military and patriotic insignia from the WWII through Korean War era. Robbins supplied emblems for the armed forces, veterans’ organizations, and patriotic jewelry sold in PXs and department stores during the 1940s–1950s.
This small brass charm (approx. 1 inch across) shows beautiful detail and an appealing vintage patina. It’s ideal for collectors of aviation memorabilia, naval aviation history, or WWII-era home-front jewelry.
