Vintage 1940's Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Evening Bag, Filigree Frame Chain Strap

You are viewing a beautiful gold mesh Whiting & Davis purse from the 1940's. It features a unique angled filigree frame with a kiss lock and chain strap. It measures 7" wide and is 5.25" high, with an additional strap drop of 4". The interior has a satin lining with a side pocket. Both interior sides of the frame are stamped Whiting & Davis, and there is a tag sewed into the inside lining. This item is in very good condition and the mesh is clean and shiny with well represented gold.
