Vintage 1940's Rose Wood Brooch And Earrings Rare Find

A pretty, celluloid and wood brooch and earring clip on set from the 1940's. It has a detailed white and pink celluloid rose attached to a beautifully dark colored wooden base. Rollover safety clasp closure. This set is in great vintage condition considering the age. The backings have signs of wear, and the settings on the back were what appeared to be hot glued since there is some glue visible on the backings of the wood where the settings were placed. Wood is a dark mahogany color, and the Rose is brilliantly carved. I love the details of the pink coral roses, there was a lot of love put into these pieces. These are perfect for the girl who loves wood carvings, roses, and that Victorian Flower look form the 40s. Very rare finding! As always remember to bundle to save more in my shop!
