Vintage 1940’s Pink Midi Sheath Wiggle Dress Collared Embroidered Lace Overlay

Sweetest vintage 1930’s-1940’s light pink ankle length dress with gorgeous off white embroidered overlay. Dress foundation is a strapless sheath shell with the sheer intricately embroidered mesh overlay. The embroidery is in squares inside a spiderweb design and also sections of circular wheels. It’s truly stunning. The short sleeves have white rayon crepe cuffs and there is a Peter Pan collar in the same fabric. Skirt has two front open pockets. It zips up and hooks at back. This is in great condition for its age. There are two areas on the lower back where the embroidery is a bit stained but there very well may be a way to get that out and the collar and cuff fabric is not all white it shows a little bit of yellowing. It has not been dry cleaned. There is one tiny bit of the under arm seam one one side that needs a quick mend. Otherwise no flaws. I believe this might have been hand made as I found no labels. This would make an adorable wedding dress or an eye catching dress for many other occasions.
