Vintage 1940's New Haven Orphan Annie Manually Wound Wristwatch: Running

I am featuring a late 1940s New Haven Little Orphan Annie wristwatch.  This watch has a manually wound movement that is currently running.  The movement has not been tested on the accuracy of the timing.  Further, if you intend to use the watch, it will likely need to be serviced and / or cleaned. The top portion of the case and watch band do not appear to be original as the original case was entirely silver and does have the ornate connection for the band.  The crystal and watch face do have surface scratches and wear but are generally in fair to good condition based on the age.
