Vintage 1940's Made in Occupied Japan Playful Puppy Dog Planter, MIOJ porcelain

Adorable and delightful 1940s made in occupied Japan playful puppy dog mini planter. The puppy is black-and-white with googly eyes and he has cute raised eyebrows just taunting you to chase it. It is in the traditional puppy dog pose with front shoulders down and its back legs up, ready to pounce. Would make a cute gift as a housewarming gift, Valentine's Day gift, puppy love crush, etc. I don't know how practical it is to use it as a planter because it's pretty small but I suppose something like a small cactus or air plant would work.
