Vintage 1940’s Johansen Black Leather 3 1/2” Spectator Pumps Contrast Stitching

These Johansen black leather 3 1/2” spectator pumps were sold in the 1940’s at the Spence Shoe Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. I knew the previous owner, a really lovely lady named Kathleen. Imagine what stories these beautiful shoes could tell, if only they could talk! They are in excellent condition, considering they are more than 3/4 of a century old! There are no cracks, stains, flaws, glue appears intact. They have been cleaned and conditioned with Leather Honey, and have been stored for decades in a vintage box which is included, although it is probably not the original one.
