Vintage 1940's Handmade Quilt

This hand made quilt was made by my grandmother in the 1940's who passed away in 1993. It has not been used in years. It has been in my cedar chest since 1993. It measures 78 inches long and 52 inches wide. It is a cream color on the front and a bluish color on the back. It has two baskets, one on top is smaller than the bottom. It has some discoloration but that comes with age. This is an absolutely beautiful quilt for someone who collects them or to use for decor. There are no rips or tears that I see. But I have to remind you that it is approximately 77 years old so there are imperfections. I have enjoyed this for years but now it is time for someone else.
