From the 1940 or early 1950 era--a prom or dance dress in sun yellow net and satin. The satin sweetheart neckline leads to a pleated bodice. Twenty-one corset style decorative buttons trail down the front to the V-shape dropped waistline. The overskirt is net with 3 graduated satin bands in connected ovals. The skirt is gently gathered with a yellow satin underskirt. The sleeves are cap style. The side closes with a 10" zipper. The belt is very stiff. No maker label--Please see condition report below
Size: no size label--the following measurements are approximate. Bust-18 1/2"pit to pit; 28" at natural waist; 40" hip on gathered underskirt; 58" long to turn-under hem. Belt--1 x 26-29"
Condition: good vintage NOTE--at the back left side below the hip is a 1" brown stain (see pic), its mate is at the hem. There are no holes. The belt is stiff
