This is a charming vintage quilt top, measuring approximately 85” x 64”. The design features classic nine patch blocks made from a variety of 1930s–1940s cotton prints, including feedsack and calico fabrics in cheerful florals, geometrics, and novelty patterns. The blocks are framed with a delicate lavender floral print sashing and accented with solid lavender cornerstone squares.
The quilt top is hand-pieced, with visible hand stitching on the seams (see close-up photos). Fabrics are crisp but show the softness and patina of age. Edges are unfinished, and some seams show light fraying consistent with its age. Occasional discoloration, minor stains (nothing distracting). Overall, it remains sturdy and would make a beautiful candidate for quilting, restoration, or repurposing in creative textile projects.
• Era: 1930s–1940s, feedsack & calico fabrics
• Technique: Hand-pieced quilt top (not quilted)
• Size: ~85” x 64” (large throw / twin topper)
• Condition: Very good vintage condition; some loose threads and light age wear, unfinished edges
