Made by Frederick Carder Ivrene free from console ruffled lip bowl pedestal in a grotesque form shape #5763. A stunning circa 1930 hand-blown 'Grotesque' form footed centerbowl manufactured by Steuben Glass in Corning, NY, executed in 'Ivrene', an iridized lead glass which has a lovely soft, silky iridescence. It is shape number 7563 and pictured on page 136, Fig. 5.71 of 'Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass American Classics' by Thomas Dimitroff.
