Vintage 1930s Handkerchief, Hand Plant Dyed Vintage Hankie in Mottled Dusty Pink

Sweet vintage handkerchief from about the 1930s, with beautiful embroidery in one corner of a moth or butterfly with little flower vines. Hand dyed to a dusty and mottled brownish pink. I've named this one the "Moth Wing". Measures about 11" square. I use natural botanical dyes I make myself from locally sourced plant and spice materials to create one of a kind and unique colors for my hand dyed items. Slight irregularities ( and more so in any vintage items due to their age and previous lives) in shading and tone are to be expected and all part of their unique charm. I recommend washing by hand with cold water to preserve the natural colors as long as possible though expect that they may gently fade over time. Lay flat to dry. Lightly iron or steam to flatten if you wish.
