Vintage 1920's Handmade Dancers Purse or Flappers Sterling Silver Compact Mirror Art Deco Engraved Floral Brocading Dancers Coin, Bills Purse This is a perfect prize for a Antique and Vintage collector in Fabulous Condition Price is FIRM see photos A sterling silver ladies’ dance coin compact purse from the early 20th century. This little purse has an engraved floral motif in 6 vertical rows and 5 Florentine sections on each side. There is space for a monogram which is engraved AW. There are no heavy scratches or deep dings. the back is polished and there is a repaired dent on the reverse. The spring latch opens easily and snaps shut tightly. There are two spring coin slots for nickels and dimes. The spring loaded paper money clip works perfectly. The mirror opens and has a place for dance cards or a bit of powder and a thin powder puff.
