Vintage 18K Gold Sky Blue Topaz Cross Pendant Filigree Scroll Openwork Italian

Vintage 18K gold blue topaz cross pendant. This Italian-made cross has an ornate openwork design with filigree scroll detail and a twisted rope / cable texture. A large sky blue topaz gemstone is prong set in the center. The stone is cut in a faceted cushion shape and set in a diamond / kite orientation. The pendant’s wide bail ring is artfully hinged with a screw, and its spacious opening is perfect for hanging on a necklace chain or cord. On the interior side of the bail ring, a signed plaque features Italian hallmarks: AR (for Arezzo, Italy), 750 (for 18K solid gold fineness), and a three-digit number (364 or 864) for the jeweler.
