Vintage 100% Silk Kimono from Kyoto Japan Tomesode

I purchased many Japanese antiques from an antique dealer in Kyoto Japan 20 years ago including these kimono and now selling from my collection. This is a Tomesode, a formal gown worn by married women. You will need an Obi or belt to wear it in the traditional fashion. Plan a kimono wedding or show up at a formal affair in this gown and watch the eyes pop! It is a beautiful pale yellow with floral accents. Kyoto Japan is known worldwide for quality silk handmade kimono. It feels luscious on the skin, with silk lining.There are no stains, tears or worn areas. Measures approximately 24" across at the chest, and 62" long. The sleeves are 19" x 13" (The sleeves are pockets - carry your cell phone in it :) One size fits all.
