Made in Luxembourg The Design Naif collection featuring multi-colored rural scenes of everyday life were painted in 1980 by Gérard Laplau, a French artist, who was instrumental in establishing the popularity of naive art. This piece features a man and women walking down a country path with a church and small village in the background. Measures approx. 3” diameter x 1 3/4” high with lid. This pretty piece is in excellent, like new condition. Great to use for small pieces of jewelry such as rings, for change or as a candy box.
