Villeroy & Boch Design Naif 3 " Porcelain Round Trinket Box featuring an elderly couple and their cat sitting in front of their fireplace which has a roaring fire in it. Made in Luxembourg The Design Naif collection featuring multi-colored rural scenes of everyday life were painted in 1980 by Gérard Laplau, a French artist, who was instrumental in establishing the popularity of naive art. Measures approx. 3 3/4” diameter x 2 1/4” high with lid. This pretty piece is in excellent, like new condition. Great to use for small pieces of jewelry such as rings, for change or as a candy box.
