Vietnam USAF 1970's KORAT Kids Carnival Patch Korat Thai Air Force Base Thai Made - A1128 Original theater made Vietnam War USAF Novelty patch: KHON KAEN KIDS CARNIVAL KORAT 1970's Era. In the 1970's, from what I can gather, the USAF stationed at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base were active in the Vietnam conflict. I am not sure what the Korat Kids Carnival refers to. Patch shows a Child holding a red balloon. I am guessing this is Thai made from a child's drawing. Pretty crudely made, may be produced by a child. Embroidered on twill with a cheese cloth back. Patch measures 3-1/4" in diameter. This patch is in excellent condition for its age, never used. Please see the photos for details. Color may vary due to lighting.
