rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 yea I understand and sometimes we dont even know when we get duped so I was just giving that heads up before someone reported , you just have to be careful with fakes cause they have so many chemicals.. I think you can sell them as long as you label them dupes ..

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 yea for sure, thanks and I’ve seen lots post their stuff and say dupes and they sell them but yeah it’s a good idea cause people will just assume the rest of the stuff is not authentic ..:)

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 the plastic cover on top with the small circular openings, ( Mac don’t make those) and also black basic stickers on bottoms are also a dead giveaway , I can upload pics of my pigments if you wanted to see the difference :).

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 well sometimes people like to show the collection so you can actually see that they have lots to chose from and sometimes you trade but people keep them on so you can see that you’ve traded successfully and read comments to see you’re legit..

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 you have to upload them to your closet and just don’t put them for sale , just place them on hold and I can go in and see them.. you can list them if you want or just delete the listing , it didn’t give you options to send photos cause that would be nice ..

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 sometimes they have really good fakes but with Mac you can kinda feel like when it’s a cheap thin plastic and the lids , Mac will have like a glittery very subtle “ shimmery “ reflection in the lid, and it will feel more solid but fakes usually feel like that lightweight cheap dollar store plastic that breaks super easy, if that makes sense..

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 yeah especially if you’re buying for like half the price of what it would cost, people would lose money that way.. I would rather have something used knowing it’s authentic than fake and new, so many people but new fakes and they’re not surprised by it being half the price , but it can have so many chemicals in it and I have super sensitive skin so I have to be careful ..

rmuzquiz @jenstyle69 yeah ofc but that’s how it goes sometimes , you learn as you go along but some people don’t mind cause they do have good pigment, you can just list as like Mac or Mac dupes and list half the cost if you want to get rid of them , I don’t think people mind so as long as it’s listed but yeah it takes time to see the difference , with some it’s easy but others they’ve gotten good at making fakes..
