cyndlyn @chevyg20, I learned to look for the maker's marks on any jewelry. I have compiled a long list of designers and jewelers hallmarks for the purpose of weeding out the junk from the good stuff. I used to wear only gold, but the technology has improved so much. I will buy it from certain designers because it's not as soft as gold. I have some poor mangled 14k & 18k gold rings. I need to take them to a jeweler. The to-do list is never- ending. Take care!
