Victor Costa for Lord & Taylor Vintage Floral Shirred/Ruched Drop-Waist Tulle Poofy Strapless Dress, vintage size 6. This is a 1980s piece and might be the most amazing dress I've ever worn! Victor Costa true vintage amazingly avant-garde bold floral printed drop-waist dress that features a shirred/ruched upper bodice that is met with a super fun poofy tulle underlay pleated skirt. Has boning in the bodice for extra hold and structure. There are fabric flower appliqués on the right side of the hip. Has a back zipper closure and no straps. Vintage size 6 (runs small, fits more like a 4) Approximate measurements laying flat: 15.5" pit to pit 12" at narrowest waist point 18" at the drop waist 42.5" long This dress is from the 1980s - in good condition with only minor flaws to note (very easy fixes): - Flower appliqués may need to be sewn down – the original owner used a safety pin to keep them in place. - Some of the stitching inside the dress hem has come undone (see last photo).
