Vic Tanny International Pleather Zip Top Gym Travel Bag Vintage 1960s 1970s

Here's a hard to find mid century Vic Tanny International travel or gym bag. It is made of a soft vinyl synthetic leather (pleather?) and has a top zipper closure in working order. There is one interior zippered pouch and one exterior pocket which spans the width of the bag. This iconic, durable, well made gym bag is free of tears, holes and odors with some random marks and discolorations both inside and out from use, age and storage. It measures approximately 13 inches in height x 15 inches in width x 6 inches in depth. It has all four metal feet firmly attached at the bottom panel. Interior has a thick piece of cardboard attached at the bottom for stability. A few stitches are coming loose on the underside of one of the top straps. The fabric around the zipper is showing age related yellowing/ soiling. All issues are shown in photos. Vic Tanny was an American bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and a physical culture advocate and is considered a pioneer of the modern day health club.
