The deep scarlet almost maroon ball is a brushed baby type wool- extremely soft. And a thin yarn- it is a hand dyed yarn & has some (delightful) variation in the dye. - the bright red one is also super soft, but a larger width & fuzzier yarn. - the 3rd ball - deep red - is a traditional mohair & very fuzzy.
