Vernon Ware by Metlox Vintage 1960s Fruit Basket Rimmed Cereal Bowls (Set of 4)

This is a charming 4-piece set of rimmed cereal bowls from Vernon Ware by Metlox, produced in California during the 1960s. The pattern, known as “Fruit Basket,” features a light tan base accented with earthy brown, green, and yellow motifs—classic colors of the era that lend warmth to any vintage table setting. Each bowl measures approximately 7" in diameter and stands 2¼" tall. Three bowls are in good vintage condition with light utensil wear typical for this line. The fourth has a small rim chip (see photos).  This line carries the legacy of Vernon Kilns, which merged with Metlox in the late 1950s. Their combined artistry lives on in these pieces—ideal for collectors of California pottery or fans of midcentury design.
