beach_blvd @dawnydonut totally understand. I’m the same way. Price is slightly flexible as I’m only reselling to help with bills. Also, this dress had very minimal alterations done, the most expensive ones already done, so if you were to purchase and it needed to be taken in, it wouldn’t be much at all. If that makes you feel a little better about fit

dawnydonut @2ndavenueco I have an appointment at our local wedding shop at the end of November. I have been told mot to get upset but I will need to go up one or two sizes in a wedding dress. I like the slightly flared mermaid style. I will try on some dresses there and get an idea and check in with you then. Hopefully, you will still have the dress available and it is the style I just love and have to buy. Your dress is more in my budget. I will keep in touch. Thank you so much for the info!

beach_blvd @dawnydonut very smart! It would be wise too to get alteration quotes. If you purchased this Vera, basing on your size and height, it would need hemming and to be taken in at waist and hip and the straps can be altered too. And yes don’t get upset hun. No one ever goes to a wedding shop and orders their size

beach_blvd @dawnydonut Some designers run small, like Vera, so it’s wise to go up a size or two especially if you’re in a situation like i ended up being in where i couldn’t lose weight before my final fitting and had to buy this dress AGAIN in a bigger size, literally DAYS before leaving the country for our wedding 😳 lord i never want to relive that 🥵😆
