Material is soft. Has a crocodile look but the way the material is cut ( in a cris cross pattern) the way the light reflects off material, almost looks like sequins. Very nice reflective sturdy zippers. Some wear on right boot heel. Included picture. Is a size 9 but these run as a snug fit so can feel like an 81/2. With a medium thick sock feels like an 8 on. Can be stretched at a shoe shop and material shapes to form.
