One is a zippered section The other is a large area with a large flap closure. A large clip to hold the section closed. Inside there are small pockets like in purses for pens, papers or other times. Under the flap are two zippered small pockets. The strap is a wide suitcase type strap that is adjustable. Could be used as a travel bag, briefcase, computer case, book bag, diaper bag, backpack.
