They lace up the sides of the jeans, but you don’t see any skin, there is the jeans behind the lace up sides so they are not see through. They are a great brand! Venus is well known for its unique style and is a high quality brand, that is not cheap. They are in great condition! There are absolutely no flaws!! The closure of the jeans is just a zipper, there is no button or snap, just the zipper that zips all the way up to fasten the jeans. (pictured). These are definitely a statement piece, and would make any outfit look great. Great condition, unique, no flaws! They are skinny jeans, there are pictures of the bottom of the jeans as well.
