*Description: This is a beautiful pair of Vendome blue beaded clip on earrings from the 1960s. The beads are art beads in various shades of blue with aurora borealis beads and silver tone leaves in each. The adjustable clips are stamped VENDOME on the back of each. According to Julia C Carroll, of Costume Jewelry 101, she states, “In 1944, Coro began producing jewelry marked “Vendome”, the name of a city in France. Like Coro Craft, the name Vendome is associated with higher-end Coro designs. Most Vendome jewelry was produced after 1953. The head designer of Vendome jewelry was Helen Marion.
