Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX ‘Stressed Black’ offers a broken-in look and feel straight out of the box. A hand-greased effect is applied to the upper and midsole, the latter accented with a Bianca Chandôn signature in blue ball-point ink. Up top, washed grey canvas is accented with a black leather side stripe and an all-over print composed of repeating black stars. White contrast stitching enlivens black suede overlays at the forefoot and heel. Atop the tongue, a woven tag displays a color-popped Vault logo in crimson. I love these Van's and have two pairs in my closet.
