Van Tellingen Hugging Bears Salt and Pepper Shakers - Vintage 1940s

Cute and adorable pair of "hugging bears" shakers from Van Tellingen, c.1947-1951. The holes are on the same side so that both salt and pepper can be dispensed at the same time using only one hand. Designed by Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel in the 1940’s. One is missing its cork stopper which crumbled when trying to take out and clean. Vintage collectible.
