This is a guaranteed, authentic Van Cleef & Arpels Sweet Butterflies Bracelet. It is created in 18K yellow gold and the butterfly is carved out of natural mother-of-pearl. Butterflies have always provided Van Cleef & Arpels with an endless source of inspiration evoking the beauty of nature in movement. It also has the proper AU 750 on the serial plate as well as the VCA on the lobster-claw clasp many novices refer to as "the new clasp". What most probably do not know is the history of the hallmark on the clasp. It is a horizontal lozenge shaped hallmark with VC on one side with the A on the other. No, that is NOT a lighthouse in the middle. It is the Vendome Column which is located in Place Vendome Paris where Van Cleef & Arpels had its first Boutique. The bracelet is in like-new condition since I wore it twice. I did not ask for a certificate since is was a gift.
