Van Cleef & Arpels "FIRST" Eau De Toilette 60ml

FIRST was the first step into the fragrance arena by any jeweler. It is no surprise that Van Cleef & Arpels was the Jewelry House to take this monumental step into the unknown. Soon after Haute Jewelers in Paris quickly followed suit as the marriage of scent and sight with fine jewels and fragrance was "heaven scent". From my cherished collection of perfumes old and new, designer and niche, I picked up this bottle with it's strange Perspex loop and I say, (to paraphrase Benedick to Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing), I do love no perfume in the world so well as you. Is that not strange? FIRST was created in 1976 by Jean-Claude Ellena. The bottle was designed by Jacques Llorente. My personal preference is for the Eau De Toilette version with notes of Hyacinth, Narcissus, Oakmoss and Peach, quietly entwined with Lily of the Valley, Carnation and Vetiver with bursts of Honey and Ylang-Ylang. This particular 60 ml bottle is an actual TESTEUR bottle from the Van Cleef & Arpels Boutique that was in The Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas prior to the Boutique moving to a new location. There is no outer box since it was a real, test bottle for clients to try the scent. There are approximately 5-10 actuations (pumps) used which isn't much.
