VTG-WMF Ikora Germany Elegant Silver Plated Brass Vase - Mid Century Modern

This beautiful mid-century, modern tulip style vase is silver plated brass from the mid-1900s. It is an excellent condition. The marks on the base are intentional and are a process that was developed by the manufacturer, WMF, or Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik, was founded in 1853 in Geislingen, Germany. They became known for their metalware, particularly silver-plated items, and developed the "Ikora" finish, a partial chemical, partial thermal process that gave their metalwares a unique, handcrafted appearance.
