VTG small, 3 slot, polished stone, agate mid-century ashtray, vintage ash ware

This is a small, circular, nice and heavy, mid-century stone ashtray with 3-shallow slots. The colors of this ashtray are really eye-catching and beautiful with swirls of rust, sienna and umber and even some white. I'm not a rock hound, so I'm not sure about the name of the stone, my guess is some sort of agate. There is some wear on the ashtray, which may or may not add character, imo, it does. ;) Maybe there's a way to polish out the scuffs? It's awesome regardless, and, it's in nice vintage condition.
